Dr. Islam has been actively involved with international organizations such as UNDP and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). During his tenure at OIC-SESRIC, he worked directly under Ms. Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Türkiye’s former Minister of Family and Social Security and the current Director-General of SESRIC. In this role, Nazmul served as the organizational manager for the Workshop on the Impact of the Post-2015 Development Agenda on Education Statistics, which was attended by education ministers from 57 OIC member countries. He also organized the Certification Advisory Board Meeting of the OIC-CPOS. Throughout his tenure, he maintained regular communication with ambassadors from OIC member states and representatives of international organizations based in Türkiye, further enhancing collaboration and networking. His contributions include organizing major international workshops, preparing influential reports, and consulting on strategies that enhance multilateral cooperation.
