Since 2021, he has served as the Special Asia-Pacific Advisor in the Foreign Relations and Protocol Department of the Turkish Parliament. He is the first foreigner to have been officially appointed to the Turkish Parliament in the 100-year history of the Republic of Türkiye. In this role, he has played a vital part in organizing and participating in high-profile international diplomatic meetings, foreign delegation visits, and global parliamentary events such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), and the Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform. He was among the high-profile OIC foreign delegates who visited Bangladesh, with a particular focus on the Rohingya camps. During the visit, he engaged in several high-level meetings with international organizations such as the UN, WFP, UNICEF, UNHCR, and UNDP, as well as with various cabinet members and policymakers in Bangladesh. His involvement in these initiatives has highlighted his ability to engage with global leaders and address pressing issues, including the bilateral and multilateral dialogue, and Rohingya refugee crisis, where he has made substantial contributions through reports and policy recommendations.
